Katherine Kern just back from Asia will lead the tea tasting event
A variety of Green Teas from China & Japan & discussion the health benefits of tea. Also a special tasting of the 1st flush (May provides the first tea leaves of the year) tea from America’s only tea plantation.
Tutored tea tasting so that novice and even tea connoisseurs can learn more about the character of teas from several different origins.
In addition, we will have a special first flush from America’s only tea plantation. You will be part of a limited few who will get the opportunity to taste and revel in this American accomplishment.
Each tea is introduced with an explanation of its origin, manufacture and character and those taking part have a tasting chart on which they can note their thoughts about the appearance and aroma of the dry leaf, wet leaf and liquor, and the taste of the teas.

July and August
Diana, a Celebration
Each year beginning July 1st, (Princess Diana's birthday) and through August 31st, (the day Princess Diana died) we celebrate Diana's life and charity works.
Come enjoy our Diana's blend tea at 50% off for a pot. We hope you will donate the 50% in to the container we have provided to benefit the Hamilton County rape crisis center in Diana's name. Princess Diana's brother, Charles, 9th Earl Spencer attended an Afternoon Tea at Churchill's in 2006 and spoke about continuing Diana's work. Hamilton County Rape Crisis Center was the benefactor of the event. See our photo gallery at Churchill's of the visit.
